The Brown Door Company exists to extend the lifeline of creative businesses by providing its owners more freedom, time, and energy to pour into the duties that inspired their entrepreneurship in the first place.
Founded by Jade Montgomery in 2019, the wellness enthusiast transformed her passion for administration, community, and finance to create Brown Door—An administrative agency providing holistic brand assistance to BIPOC-owned businesses.
Born in Chicago, blossomed in Virginia, and currently taking up space in Brooklyn, Jade was warranted a unique opportunity to experience America’s vast communities of color and was especially inspired by the women in those communities. Growing up, the Afro-Latina visionary always felt behind on being ahead. There seemed to always be some obstacle in her way of triumphing and sailing through life.
But with age comes wisdom and with due time Jade discovered that this fear and systematic doing was a common theme amongst women of color - the very women who animated her the most. What could she do to help these communities get ahead of the game? How could she empower people of color, particularly the woman, to handle their business and earn visible profits from it?

Drawing from her own creativity, curiosity, and observations, Jade built Brown Door to help extend the lifeline of creative businesses. She provides creative business owners more freedom, time, and energy to pour into the duties that inspired their entrepreneurship in the first place. Because of all of the high-earning communities in America, the creative BIPOC ecosystem is in need of the most grounding and empowerment.
This is where Jade steps in to tackle tedious tasks with ease and grace, granting entrepreneurs an opportunity to shift their focus from the mundane and back into their right brain.
With a rich relationship to self, Jade’s calming presence adds a unique essense to your brand; She’s able to show up, listen, ask deep questions that jog one's mind, and fully commit to the project at hand.
